The exhibition seeks to uncover and celebrate the hidden beauty in things and places that are often overlooked or deemed unattractive. The photography captures the allure of weathered treasures. Each photograph tells a story of resilience, history, and the passage of time, revealing the beauty that exists in the most unexpected places. It really is beautiful.
Go catch it from this Thursday 13th March at Bulwell Riverside until 19th April.
About the Artist Emma Tideswell
Hi there! I’m Emma, a busy mum to two wonderful girls and partner to Colin. I have been a proud member of the Bulwell community for eighteen years.
By day, I work as a postie, and I draw great inspiration from the diverse scenery and hidden gems I encounter on my rounds.
For over twenty years, photography has been my passion. I love to explore and capture the beauty in places and objects that might not be conventionally seen as beautiful.
There’s something truly magical about discovering little treasures that are weathered by age and adorned with patina.
